Bumblebee Jasper

Bumblebee Jasper Identification Card

AKA Names: Eclipse Stone, Fumarolic Jasper.

Locations Found: The most significant deposits of Bumblebee Jasper are found in Indonesia, near hot vents of an active volcano called Mount Papandayan.

Appearance: Bumblebee Jasper is an attractive stone that exhibits distinctive yellow, orange, and black bands, resembling the coloring found on bumblebees, hence its name. Note that despite the name, it is not technically a jasper.

Strengths:

- Mind: Bumblebee Jasper is believed to increase concentration, inspiration, and intuition. It's also known for its ability to foster honesty and sincerity.

- Body: It's said to strengthen the immune system, provide physical vitality, and aid in the absorption of nutrients.

- Spirit: Spiritually, Bumblebee Jasper is used for removing energy blockages, enhancing manifestation, and promoting spiritual growth.

Weaknesses: Bumblebee Jasper is relatively soft and can be scratched easily. It also contains sulfur and arsenic, which are toxic, so it should always be handled with care.

Complementary Stones: Clear Quartz for amplifying its energies; Black Tourmaline for grounding; Citrine for manifesting abundance; and Amethyst for spiritual growth.

Fun Facts:

1. Bumblebee Jasper is actually not a true jasper because it does not contain quartz. It's a sedimentary rock composed of volcano lava and ash from a volcano.

2. The vibrant colors of Bumblebee Jasper come from the presence of sulfur, hematite, and arsenic — all of which are elements released from the volcano.

Spiritual Connections: Bumblebee Jasper is associated with the solar plexus and sacral chakras. It's an excellent stone for grounding, manifestation, and journeying.
